Fitzy's Toowoomba - Anita Armanasco
Story
Hello Toowoomba!
I am sleeping out for our city’s women in March, and I need your help!
I'm a proud ambassador for Protea Place's 4 Pink Wheels - an event dedicated to helping displaced regional women find secure housing. Women are being disproportionately impacted by the housing crisis gripping regional Queensland. Now in it's second year, this event is a powerful statement of solidarity and support for vulnerable women in our community who are facing homelessness or challenging circumstances.
Domestic violence and the displacement of women is an issue close to my heart, and if I can play a small part in creating change, even just for one woman, I would be forever grateful. I am humbled to be a voice for those who would otherwise be silenced. Together we can create lasting change for our community. Together, we can do this now.
Toowoomba, it's time to take action!
On March 4th I'll sleep in my car, but we won't rest until we reach Protea Place's $200,000 fundraising target together. Join me and be part of the change.
Please help Toowoomba’s 'hidden homeless' by making a donation today. Thank you for your support,
Anita x (on behalf of my family business, Fitzy's Toowoomba)
