The Women's Accountant
Story
As a female-led business, the mission of Protea Place deeply resonates with us. The rising number of women experiencing homelessness is alarming - it could happen to any one of us, our mum, our aunt, or our sister.
That’s why we’re proud to support the efforts of Protea Place by participating in the 4 Pink Wheels event. Our team will be sleeping in our cars to raise awareness and funds for this vital cause. Together, we can make a difference and support women in our community who need it most.

Protea Place Inc
Protea Place Womens' Support Centre is a site-based crisis and support center for women experiencing homelessness, domestic and family violence or disadvantage. We provide an integrated model of dignity services (meals, showers, laundry, clothing, toiletries) along with rapid response support housing, health and safety. We provide advocacy and referral services to women in need along with practical elements such as setting up homes when accommodation is secured.PP receives no government funding and relies 100% on philanthropic support, sponsorship and community grants to operate.
